hi folks,
   goptaji wrote
 << a. Dismiss Modi - - ( why??? then remove omar abdulla,lallo prasad & all
the north east chief ministers where violence n chaos continues
unabated day in n day out).
b. Impose central rule in Gujarat. Implement welfare and rehabilitation
measures on war footing there - - (first do it in kashmir & NEast where the
suffering has been for a decade now - - people still live in refugee camps
with nowhere to go n nobody to look upto).
c. Take note of FIRs, follow them vigorously.Punish the marauders -- (punish
the bomb blasts accused and terrorists like afroze first instead of
allowing them to walk scot free. )
d. Follow the guidelines of the NHRC in all seriousness (NHRC always acts as
a minority commission than a human rights commission it had done more
harm than good).
e. Hold elections in Gujarat as soon as possible, in consultation with the
Election Commission.>>

and also elaborated on a few mistakes of gandhi which were absolutely
correct.i would like to add to it.
gandhi at best was a true altruist(i say this becoz he never amassed wealth
n did not allow his kith n kin to rule the country that though he could have
easily have done this) but for the nation i feel he was a big time disaster.
through his non-violence he gave the world the idea that hinduism & india
could be taken for granted and played around as and when one wished.
lemme share a few ideas if mine that i am ready to defend till the end -- i
shall be only too glad to debate and that because ever since childhood our
minds were conditioned to think like that n we never bothered to analyse the
boring history texts.most of us took it at face value mugged them up passed
our exams a forgot them.

* india never won freedom due to gandhi and the congress as we all believe.
we got it becoz of HITLER N HIS NAZIS. well dont take it in a wrong way n i
am not defending hitler or saying that he meant well for us. just that
accidentally by destroying the british empire economically n otherwise viz
the WW2 he brought an end to colonialism.please tell me why did we not
achive freedom before or why malaysia got freedom on the very same day as
india or why other extremely small n weak countries won freedom at around
the same time.the brititsh were all too powerful and our non-cooperation n
other movements were not even a two-penny worth against their might. only
their weaking becoz of the war won us our freedom.

* gandhi actually suported indian troops fighting for the british and we
have lost thousands of solidiers n that too unsung owning to the world wars
that were primarily a british affair.i shall quote history n remind people
that when in 1914 there was a tiff between gandhi n tilak as to whether
india should suport britains war effort or not gandhi had strongly argued in
favour of support.we could actually have won at least partial freedom by
providing support only against freedom. where was his non-violence then -
-as per non-violence any war shouldnt be supported.the british army here was
entirely constituted if indians - by just inspiring a non-cooperation
movement in them we could have achieved our objectives - but alas who was to
explain that to the mahatma.

* gandhi was too selfish n possesive about his so called non-violent
movement so much so that he openly rebuked bhagat singh & the other two in a
congress meeting and he did not sign a petition that could have easily saved
their lives. not only that he was at loggerheads with subhash chandra bose
just because he thought that that subhash chandra's movement could measure
up with his n he would might have to play a second fiddle.

* lastly though he never practicsed nepotism in the sense of the word n did
not bring to power either himself or his kith n kin he did unnecessarily
favour nehru n made him the PM of independent india without elections . this
was the greates disservice he could have done especially when highly worthy
candidates like Patel were available for the esteemed post.we are still
bleeding economically and culturally owning to that blunder.

i am glad that finally his we are seeing the end if his non-sensical values
in india in the form of gujrat. by showing the "other cheek" when slapped
the enemy can never be won. the only thing we can achive by doing that is
make ourselves look like fools.i realise that, that is what we have done till
now when i open my eyes n see.
