sir, to speak out one's mind especially in "dark areas" does not come naturally.it has to be cultivated.sadly the present education does any thing except that!how to think about things,organise thoughts, how to present it diplomatically , how to listen to others, how to reply--this art is almost dead!
is this why we have a large number of members but fewer active participants?

I think sathe is inclined to the "scientific way". now any scientist will have to agree that what we do not know is a lot.we are "in the process" of finding out.we can only say that according to what we know in science GOD does not exist.we have no proof.
shall we work it the other way? hundred years back people who thought man can fly were laughed at. atom was thought to be the ultimate; could not be split. what do we have to day?
if science knows every thing, we will not be having discoveries at all. when we discover something it was not known before.it does not mean it did not exist.we were probably not "equipped to" appreciate it.

not all the phenomena we see can be explained rationally by science. it has to agree "yes we do not know yet."
can a cow appreciate what is going on in a nuclear physics laboratory?

so it boils down to belief or experience. we believe our scientist when they say "I have discovered this. this is like that. and other scientist also agree."
that being so then why is that we can not believe when a spiritually evolved person says "this is like this"? of course believing is a personal choice. if one is inclined not to believe we can't make him believe.but we can not laugh at or condemn those who do believe.people have to experience GOD in some way to truly believe.i have seen "hardened atheists" do the somersault.
