Tip of the day: A small town that cannot support one lawyer can always support two.

Ref: “i have always held that ghodse was a selfless martyr n held him in the
highest regard for the service that he did to the nation. if not for him we
would all have been exterminated long ago.
- - high time we go to war annihilate the "sons
of satan" n save our brethren fm the clutches of those mongrels n restore
the dignity of our beautiful valley by returnign the pundits to their
repective homes.
- - akshay”
I would not ordinarily have commented upon this. We all are at varying stages of knowledge, experience, maturity and spiritual evolution and we must, accordingly, differ in our views. If we did not differ, there would be no nukkad, no democracy.
I have got to comment because the views expressed by Akshay are too strong to be left undiluted; pure acid corrodes deep and fast.
I refuse to believe that Gandhi was a curse and his physical eliminator an angel. Both were sent by god [as we all are], for different purposes. Gandhi was sent to bring an uprising amongst the masses that had become accepted their fate as the slaves of the invincible Englishman. This uprising had to be a social and spiritual awakening of their own individuality, worth and power as against a sense of helplessness.
He achieved this by preaching them the message of Gita in a practical manner. He taught them that they are invincible, as soul is invincible. He taught them to be fearless and do their duty and not to care for the fruit of their endeavor. In topical context that meant: rise and fight for your right of independence; worry not that you are unarmed; your power is within you, the power of a strong spirit, that cannot be broken by batons or bullets; fear not that you may die, for none can kill you; this soul is immortal and neither kills or is killed by anybody; what dies is your body, which, in any case, is destined to die; you yourself are immortal. So, have heart, rise and fight. Follow me, and I shall give you freedom. In essence, it was the same message that Christ gave to his ‘lambs’. Both were killed by those who did not like their preachings. Both live in the hearts of countless millions.
If Akshay wishes to extoll Godse, let him do so by all means. May be, he might as well sing praises to those who crucified Jesus, too. But that might be embarassing for him. He is full of praise for Israel and the Jews, the very same Jews who killed Christ.
I said, both Gandhi and Godse were sent here with a purpose. What was the purpose of sending Godse? The same as sending those to this world who crucified Jesus. He was jolly well giving his sermons and people were following him. God should have made him live longer than 32 years, so that he might continue to spread the gospel. Why had he to be crucified in the god’s scheme of things? Because that was the only way to make him and his gospel immortal. If there are no contrasts, what use is a colour? If there is no night, what use is day and day break? It is the contrast with the evil that lends shine and immortality to good. Had there been no Ravan, would Ram be worshipped today?
But, leaving aside god and spirituality, let us see what Akshay is saying. He is saying that it was great for a young man wielding a pistol to kill in cold blood a frail 79 year old man who was going to offer prayers to god and who himself was perceived an angel of god by millions, for no reason other than that this young man took to his head that he represented 33 crore Indians, who, according to him, were suffering because this old man lived, and would be liberated from their suffering once he died. Had that been true, India would have been liberated of all its ills 54 years ago, for, that is when Gandhi was murdered.
It almost seems that since killing one man was not enough, let us kill 19 million more, because they are all ‘sons of satan’, in his own words. May be, larger the sacrifice, larger the benefit.
Dear Akshay, I write this to state that you are mistaken in thinking that they are sons of satan and you are son of god. You are wrong in thinking that Satan has only 19 million sons and all are in India. You and your tribe may spend a life time in terminating satan, but he will always be there.
If you really want to fight satan, fight with the satan within, whom you, in all your innocense, perceive as Hindu superiority. That is not Hinduism, but rabid communalism. If you and others like you persist in your belief, you would, of course, not succeed in wiping out satans, but, in the process, you would be leaving behind you for your children an India even more full of satanic hate and sin, manifest in rape, murder and the like. Gujarat is just a sample. A hint is enough to the wise.
