The 10 commandments were give to Moses, centuries before Jesus.
If you meant something else, please clarify. It is somewhat difficult
to understand your hyperkinetic prose.

Also, consider watching one of the many Hollywood movies on 
the life of Jesus. They do a fairly good job of depicting the
events leading upto his crucifixion including where general
public (Jews) refuse to use their power of pardon to set
Jesus free.

This very simplistic view may help bolster your argument, but
is very, very wrong. For centuries, Christians have blamed
the Jews for the crucifixion. Hundreds of thousands of Jews were
killed in the Crusades in the middle ages. And the Crusades were
entirely sponsored and supported and encouraged by the Catholic
Church.  For two thousand years the Jews have been subjected to
prejudice, pogroms, ghettos, systematic extermination and 
generally hatred from the Christians. The Catholic Church stood
silent while Hitler killed millions of Jews during WWII.

It is only recently that Pope John Paul II has tried to mend
the relations between the two faiths. 

So now we come to why America supports Israel. This is a
whole different topic and can be discussed forever. This
unconditional support has come about due to the confluence
of various events and movements over the past 50 years.

After WWII, all the Allied powers had a tremendous guilt
complex because they could not stop the Holocaust. The
US was the first to recognise the state of Israel not for
religious reasons but because they felt morally obliged to
do so as well as because the Allies did not want to deal 
with millions of refugees. Over time, the Jewish lobby in
the US has grown very powerful. They have a lot of influence
in Washington DC and a very sympathetic audience. Add to this
the rise of the religious right and of evangelical Christians
in the past few years. Even though they may have their differences
with Jews, they believe that Jews are the 'children of God' and
need all the help they can get. 

I am sure there are a few other factors at play that I have 
missed out on but it is very naive to attribute the current
support to religion. If you really want to know the truth,

give you a better picture of our recent history.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion about Jews, Christ,
Christianity and US-Israel relations.
