I had two choices when I read this e-mail. Either I deleted it - or I replied to it knowing that I am inviting your ire.

YOu definitely need to read up on your history. The ONLY reason that Jews have been persecuted in the world by Christians (before Islam came into existence) is because of the belief that the Jews killed Christ.

Rather, they denounced him becausehe said that he was the Son of God. He said that he was the Messiah that was mentioned in the Old Testament (which was called the Bible). To the Jews this was blasphemy. They definitely used their influences with the Romans to ensure that Jesus was laid to rest in the rather painful way described so tragically by Arya.

The Muslims, with the advent of the Prophet, who claimed that HE was the second coming of the Messiah, claimed that everyone that was Christian or Jew should treat the Prophet as the Messiah.

Of course, the Jews rejected this. The Christians also did the same. The bloody Crusades were the result of the Christians trying to ram through their view of the world (Jesus for all etc.) to the Muslims. The Crusades never resolved anything. 

Unfortunately, of all the religions, Islam is the newest and consequently the best documented. And what we read in it tells Muslims again and again that Christians and Jews MUST either be converted or destroyed. I don;t believe the New testament says ANYWHERE that if someone is not converted they should be killed. It DOES say that those who don't take Jesus as the Son of God will repent in Hell. 

To reiterate: the Jews are hated by Christians because they don't accept Jesus as the Son of God. The Muslims hate everyone that is not a Muslim because their religion explicitly commands them to do so.

Fortunately for us, we have such good examples as APJ Abdul Kalaam in our midst who show us that it is possible to be a good Muslim without following the Quran to the letter.

As for the reason why America is helping Israel - all you have to do is look at who controls the money in America. A significant percentage of the media is controlled by Jews. Same is true for the money-center banks. And money talks. So much for the conspiracy theory about why USA supports Israel.

Jews fled from Germany and Russia to the US because this was the only place where they would not be persecuted by the state itself. So far that is holding true. But that is certainly not the case for the average White American. Many of these neo-Nazis HATE Jews. You only have to go to some of these Aryan nation web sites to see how uniformly they hate blacks, browns, yellows and Jews. Their sole purpose is to rid America of all non-whites. Or non-Aryans. 

Thepractical reasons why Israel is supported by the USA is (to my cynical mind) because the USA needs a counterpoise in the Middle East. Too much oil is at stake. If there were no Israel, there is literally nothing to prevent the Arabs from ganging up together (as they did in the 70s) and raising oil prices worldwide. USA is too dependent on imported oil. It is quite possible that Israel as a state might never have survived but for the importance of oil.

Sorry for rambling on. Just put a few of my unconnected thoughts together.
