Tip of the day: Forgive your enemies, it drives them really nuts.

A TRIBUTE TO EXCELLENCE
Planet M was crowded with Cell phones and people;
Somebody at the jukebox, someone paying cash,
Some girls were admiring the soft toys,
Fresh from a Shubha Mudgal rendition of 'Rain'.
I glanced at the populace,. ....and saw her,
Elegant nose, jet-black hair, Indian looks,
With elegance and earthiness to match,
That intrinsic, genetic beauty,
I kept staring at her, .. she knew it,
She gave me occasional glances. I knew it.
For I was watching her intently,
She kept flitting in and around the place,
My eyes telescoped in on her every time,
Heaven knows who she was.. That ethnic girl,
Cast in an urban setting, capturing the essence,
Of excellence and perfection.
I paid for my CD's and books, she was standing there,
For want of a better excuse, I passed through the door.
-A poem by Rajababu.
The Weather Seduces
The Mountain tops that kiss the underbelly of the passionate sky,
The clouds look like a bed scattering itself inot strands of white;
Scented, shivering with the scintillating melodies of love, this romantic
wind,
Tickles its way along my back, I shudder in orgasmic glory,
Whatever's happened to this weather?
Why does it tanatalise me so?
The mounds of the fragrant earth assiduously stare back at me;
The ripe corns in the fields sway deliriously from side to side,
Heaving away, pregnant with the fullness of life, of deliverance;
The bunches of flowers caress me from their places in the trees
Reminding me all at once about you.
These virtual friends, would they dare to be around
Had you been by my side now?
The Waterfalls sing a song on their own, mellifluously,
Not unlike the sound of the feet of the beautiful village girls
They wish to get absorbed into the beckoning river below,
Just like I wish to drown myself in your enigmatic self.
Child like fantasies goad me, propel me towards you,
Forget the friends, the village, my age, my innocence;
Oh lover, take me into the excesses of the azure sky,
Let us shudder away towards the distant horizon.
Where everyone's drunk the heavenly nectar of tumultuous passion.
Yet you won't come, why not, my dear one?
Crush me in your arms and seduce me,
Just like the weather around us.
A MEETING OF MINDS
Let me introduce you to this besotted one,
The One who ravished my peace of mind;
She who came, took and controlled my desires,
Making me a prisoner, a slave of her will.
The One who took me away from the Solitude of life,
Making me feel close to this enigma, this stranger,
Drawing both of us towards the fire, that passionate moth;
Let me introduce you to that besotted one.
Her Life sparkled the laughter of Life, the World smiled,
Her Sadness eveloped the Universe with an eclipse of Gloom;
Her arrival would freshen up the placid air around;
Let me introduce you to that Besotted Glory.
Harmony and Melody coalesced in her Songs,
The Earth bloomed early, on her footsteps,
Taking my precious thoughts, tearing it out of my Bosom,
Come, let me introduce you to my Besotted heroine.
-A poem by Rajababu.
