[nukkad] Virus on the Prowl?

Is there a virus on the prowl sending out blank messages with random subject lines to multiple id's?

I have received 3-4 such mesages one of them from Harshal's mumbai-central id. & the others too might be from list members (Vivek Kashyap, Pseshrao) Vivek seems to have received a similar msg with How are U in the subject line from my id. 

Anyone else affected by this? Any precautions to be taken? The IT savvy in the group please inform.
