Thanks, 'Shal,

I got exactly what I want.

Someone had set the content password at a pc at my office and web was
not appearing. Your links solved the problem once forever.

This might be the worst oversight of Microsoft. Anybody can set the
password without any authorisation. Thenafter, nobody can do anything
without that password.

Next questions.

1. In one of the digit cd, I came across a free software "Hide folders"
that used to make the folders not appear in explorer while the software
was running, thus the contents of the folders were truly hidden.

However, it being a nagware, it did not allow a password in free
version, and it popped up a window at startup showing exactly those
folders which were hidden. Thus it was not effective.

Everybody is having some contents on his or her box which they want to
keep hidden from others (okay. say, for safety purpose so that others do
not end up deleting or messing around :)

Could anyone please direct to some FREE software which works silently
and hides specified contents, preferably with password. (If you tell me,
next month I shall how to get its forgotten password. :)

2. I have a pdf file which is 2000 pages long, 89 MB (yes, Mil). It is
having contents which are of our product and other products also.

I want to delete those pages which are not relevant to our product so
that the file becomes smaller (one-third) and benefits blah blah.

I have searched the net for abotu two hours but could not come across
any free software. acrobat does that but our boss is not willing to buy
it and my work is suffering.

Any free utility which can insert/ delete pages of a pdf file.

(I know about pdfeverywhere.com's merge split, but that is convenient
for extracting a few pages, not for deleting pages from a given file)

Thanks.
-Rawat
