1. Look into http://www.fspro.net. They have a utility called "Hide Folders" (not a very imaginative name) which will hide two folders for free. For more, you will have to buy their "Hide Folders Pro".
2. Search for a utility called GhostScript. I used it a few years back, but it may be able to help. I don't think it'll be a big download.
