WHAT PRICE DIALOGUE?

I have been graced by 3 emails from 2 gentle souls who don't
like my capacity to have an opinion, if it happens to fall out with
what is theirs.

Which can be expected. What is remarkable is the ease with which
these men lose their tempers. Cheap shots and veiled threats
and bad grammar are not far behind.

What is sadly apparent, is that they perceive civility as weakness, and
aggression which tramples as strength.

They share some characteristics, which implies they belong to a
political faction sharing common philosophy.

Fantastically, they are universally Hindus.

If you pick through what they write, they are also barely veiled
women haters. More poking about and you get the idea they 
are rabid religionists.

Intolerance to dialogue, rank uncontrollable anger, an 
anti-feminine platform, tacit ties to religion bent to suit 
contingencies, and God as their mascot.

Much like the Taliban. But here read Hindu.

I tried to keep stable and civil and did succeed, but it had only
some impact.

All have cut ties with me, giving me up as, I quote, desh-drohi 
and "Et tu?', and beyond repair.

Dead end. Chasm. Period. Void.

Another odd thing to note. Much like "bewras", they, Hindu and
Moslem zealots alike, pretend to break off from Nukkad with
fireworks and invectives; but they seem to linger about, silently
reading what is being written. Some surface like nothing had
happened, and catch Raginiji's rightful ire, and some become 
shadows and communicate unilaterally with a few members who 
have won their special ire.

Two points to make.

1. They are the Lost Tribe of Hind. Young, energetic, brilliant,
lost to communication, hatching plans for days to come when
their philosophy rules the land, and all else turned out of Utopia.

Their "koul" is clear: Mera Apna Bharat.

Which sort of excludes everyone else, except those they consider,
by like standards, "apne log".

2. What they so hate is what hold them to Nukkad. Free speech,
tolerance, dialogue.
