unfortunately things have come to such a state of affairs  that no one really applies his mind  and if the leader has his whims and fancies their dictate runs through. there are enough people to support even the craziest ideas. congress cronies are the typical example.

on the lighter side an unconfirmed story goes thus:
MGR was CM of Tamil Nadu and he had some problem with his speech due to an earlier bullet injury. He had a close brush with death from kidney failure and was nominally "ruling" from his bedroom.He was watching  the television and those days you had to fiddle with the antenna to get good picture. As his TV was not showing a clear picture, he called his assistant and tried to convey the problem. the asst could not make out his request and all that MGR could get out was a rather garbled "TV ...antenna... change."
his" order" was complied with at once.T.V.Antony, the then chief secretary was relieved of his post!

2.On Kiss:
Prof of law: Kiss is a lot of money if one of them was an unwilling party.

3.Pop up killer:
so many are able to host their web pages free of cost only because of the ads.to have the ad incorporated in the web page as a banner or have it as a pop up is the dilemma.  a banner spoils the very look of the page and many a times out of tune. A pop up is annoying but does not spoil the web page! what can one do? a pop up killer I am afraid denies the chance of an ad being displayed. it may force the web hosts to deny the option of pop up ads. for this reason I do not use one though aware of its existence for some time.
