Body Adjustment Techniques

I would like to share a modality I am practicing, which surmises that most
illnesses arise in the body because of mis-alignment of the torso and head
the hip and feet.

I follow the work of a great and wondrous clinician, Keiiko Matsumoto, who
practices in Boston and teaches all over the world.

She in turn patterns her work on Master Nagano, Master Kawai and Dr. Yoshio
Manaka.

Dr. Manaka in a long practice founded as many as six distinct systems of
healing. His most charming work is identifying the exact decibels which
would influence various organs into healing.

I took that work and developed a complete system which can be applied in the
clinic on actual cases, but because there are just so many things you can
do, and I don't use that much.

Back to Mis-alignment:

Often childhood and later-life falls, trauma, cuts and bruises, even when
healed, surgical scars, all cause a small shift in the placement of the
torso on the hip, and of the neck on the torso.

This can result in:

Migraines, stomach problems, mood swings, impotence, frigidity, eye
problems, anxiety attacks, low back and neck pains.

The middle age sag at the waist and abdomen, the pendulous abdomen, and the
"poochy" bulge of the lower abdomen can also be because of this.

The fun part. If you check for mis-alignment, by tests which are simple and
straightforward, and find and correct the flaw, every possible clinical
problem can also be corrected, even when you did nothing to treat that.

I am full tilt these days on this tack, and am trying to pick and choose the
people on whom this is best applied.

I am working mainly with:

1. Low back pain
2. Neck and shoulder pain of women and office workers
3. Carpal tunnel syndrome
4. Upper chest flank pain with lung problems
5. Allergies
6. Insomnia and sleep disorders
7. Hypertension.

PS. I write this in the understanding that this may interest practitioners
and folks at large. Hopefully I am doing the right thing.
