                              Britain's most expensive numberplate is 
apparently back on sale for £1m. The 51 NGH plate set a new record price for a 
DVLA auction when "frantic bidding" at the sale in Melton Mowbray, 
Leicestershire, pushed the price up to £254,000 last weekend. Two days later 
the numberplate - which resembles the name Singh - was being advertised on the 
car registration website Bossreg.com. 

                              A spokesman for the Birmingham- based company 
said the plate was for sale, but refused to reveal the identity of the seller.
