Thanks for all the info. I didn't know that most Indian brands - Bru
etc. - add chicory. That explains why Nescafe tastes so different than
the rest. A bottle of Bru from the local desi store will have to do
for now to get a taste of this blend.

Carol, thanks for the info about German coffee. Looks like the
practice of adding chicory is pretty widespread.
