out of curiosity why does one need two cell phones?
I have a friend who does too, but she has one from teh company and one
of her own. Th company one she uses for business and persona calls the
personal phone is used for checking mail on the PDA phone.
My question is is that why uhave two phones as well

Well there are various advantages when you have two mobile phones.
Let me say how in my case.

1)  In some areas of New Bombay the Orange has very poor reception.
     A few months back when I did not have Reliance, I used to face
     many difficulties in receiving signals from Airoli all the way to past
     Ghansoli. This disconnection in morning hours used to cause much
     inconvenience to me. In this stretch of the old Thane - Belapur Road.
     Reliance works perfectly alright.

2) To call from Orange mobile to another Orange mobile is cheaper than
    to call Reliance mobile and vice versa. When your usage is substantial
    you have to consider the economy factor.

3) It helps a lot, lot when you have one phone engaged in out going line
    and the other is having an incoming line.

4) The biggest headache is to carry both in pockets at a time. The situation
    becomes worse than managing two wives at a time !!!
