[nukkad] A joke :-)

While searching the archives of Nukkad for a humorous post of mine I
stumbled upon what was an even bigger joke!
In fact as I read it I cant stop laughing!

Sir,

1. I am a member of the above list. Even otherwise, the list is an
open publication accessible by all without any restrictions.

2. I have noticed during last 2-3 months that illegal activities are
being carried on in the list almost on a daily basis. Such activities
consist of publishing on the list messages which:

A. Tend to incite different religious communities and thus destroy
religious harmony;

B. Are of an antinational character and openly question the
territorial integrity of India and also denounce the policies,
including foreign policies, of the Government  of India, at the same
time announcing allegiance to Enemy States and abetting and aiding the
propaganda of such enemy states against India.

3. The above statements are corroborated by your own statement in
Message 2 of Digest no. 259 dated  June 12, 2002, reproduced below:
?Lately it seems that every discussion irrespective of the topic
degenerates into religious name-calling. Almost all participants seem
to have strong prejudices and biases and are unwilling to listen to
others and try to see their viewpoint. All opportunities for an open
discussion and genuine change are lost in macho posturing and
braggadocio?.


4. The above activities are violative of the Constitution of India as
also various laws including, inter alia, the indian Penal Code and the
Cyber laws.
5. In the circumstances, you are requested to take necessary steps to
stop the aforesaid illegal activities forthwith, failing which you
will be liable for further necessary action as per law. It is
suggested that either the list may be properly moderated or the
persons posting offensive messages may be barred from the list.
6. It is requested that necessary action may be taken within seven
days. Kindly acknowledge the receipt of this notice.
