How true! Last month Dubai Petroleum announced a "Golden Handcuff" for
certain categories of specialist Petroleum engineers. 1 million
dollars bonus if they stayed on for 4 years! And yet are unable to
keep people because Oil Majors  are paying up to a 100K US$ as a
signing bonus and upto 50% more in base pay.
Its a mad world out there in recruitment.
