Hello Dr. Gupta,

Ref: > Answer: 2002.
===============

The only reply which I can think of to this is:

LMAO. You HAD To restart the topic. And based on a 2002 guideline of WHO.

And I am not a layman. I am a qualified Surgeon currently in practise and up to
date with literature and not some retired doctor who has given up the
profession 7 years back.
Sure you can treat anemia with Ferrous Sulfate, there is no argument about
that. We are not discussing community health management at WHO level. The
argument is if a person can spend some 5 rupees a day extra to get a BETTER
tolerated iron that has better bioavailablity and quicker replenishment of Body
Iron stores then I would not recommend Ferrous Sulfate but the other iron that
your copy of Drug Today does not even mention. Private practise does not need
WHO guidelines. The priorities are totally different.

BTW are you aware of the now being used total intravenous replenishment of Iron
stores, not by the outdated IV Drip used in your time but by Bolus injection.

Dr. MB Agarwal, one of the Top hematologists in India prescribes the same Iron
preparation that I do. Is he not a "REAL" expert in your not so humble opinion?
LOL in your opinion YOU are the ONLY real expert. Or those who agree with you.

Learn some humility. It is not a bad thing at your age. This fresh opening of a
topic with the word REAL in caps just shows you up and your weaknesses. Accept
that someone else might be correct once in a while. Stick to what you do best.
Like practising law and writing poems. No one is asking advise from you
regarding medicine and you are not even qualified to do so having taken up law.
I believe you can only carry on one profession at one time. And please do not
try to make a clown of yourself again on list. It looks pathetic.
