My personal views are personal, not for the list. My scientific or reasoned
or academic or professional views are for all who want to read them.

It is a fact known to

1. Clinical nutritionists: that animal foods in general predispose to
several diseases, including cardio-vascular, gastro-enrerological,
cancerous, endocrine and metabolic, and renal  [I have written in detail
about it on the list in recent past].

2. Basic nutritionists: That protein deficiency is a myth and protein excess
is a harm.

3. Agricultural nutritionists: That six times more vegetarian than non-veg.
food can be produced per unit area of land.

4. Public health nutritionists: That--a: nutrition supplementation
programmes are far cheaper and effective and easy to administer and
practical when the supplement is basically veg. [Milk is not counted here as
nonveg; egg may be added, ,as in TN]; b, many infections are specially
attached to consumption of non-veg food.
