I don't know what exactly the person who wrote this means, but IF I AM 
CORRECT, most of the people will misunderstand this statement as

[H1/B1 means two DIFFERENT visas. one is H1 and the other is B1]

Unfortunately the above statement within '[' and ']' is NOT correct.

H1/B1 is ONE single visa. In short we call it H1. In all the I-797 I (and 
others' which I had seen) had been issued it clearly says H1/B1

Of course B1 is a separate visa.

H1/B1 means ONLY repeat ONLY the 'so called' H1 visa
