Did anybody got a glimpse of planet mercury traversing over the Sun
yesterday, a phenomenon called Mercury transit? Was it visible in India?

Are you planning to view the Leonid meteor showers this year? last year
a lot of expectations were there, but it never was visible, in India.

This year the predicted peak in India would be around 4 or 5 in the
morning, Thursday 18/11/1999. But it is very random, so interested
persons should also be vigilant on night between Tue-wed as well as on
Wed-thu. There will a long wait after this opportunity.

Clear Skies.

Okay folks.......the Leonids peak this week. Will they storm? Will they
shower? Will the clouds part?

Right now it looks like we have a "GO" for headin' for a couple nights of
potential meteor disappoinmtent...I mean glory.

"There are a few starry patterns in this sky which are pretty easy to
identify. The belt of Orion, for one, the straight line of 3 stars. A bit south
and west of that is the brightest star in the sky, Sirius. A little more west,
and a little higher is another bright star, Procyon. Leo begins to rise about
2 hours after Procyon.........."

Call in sick! Take a day or 2 off!! But watch this meteor shower if ya
can....
