Dear friends,
sometimes in 1995, I had got a job offer from TCS, Bombay.

It contained those clauses about signing a bond, depositing 50K or so,
guarantee against real estate or FD, some itax payee as suretee, a la.

I want to highlight that not a single word about these things was even
hinted in my hour long interview, let alone discussed, and agreed upon.

I never joined TCS, soleley because of this clause, though TCS had
always been my dream firm, and I had come to know that TCS also is
eager to appoint IITians ( I am from IIT Kanpur, 85 batch).

Hope TCS must be doing well with their bonded labourers.

I would like to know about others'  experiences with TCS also.

Hi,
If you or anyone you know has been pursued by TCS to repay their
bond money, let me know. Did you end up paying or did you fight them
in court or did you just lie low and ignore them?
