Camel humps are not there to store water, but rather to store fat. When
camels go long periods of time without food, they live off the fat in
their humps, causing the humps to shrink, and sometimes to flap over to
one side or the other of the animal.
The word mile comes from the Latin "milia passuum," which means "a
thousand paces," or steps of 5 feet each, or 5,000 feet. The British
decided that a mile should be divisible by furlongs, a common farming
measure at the time, each of which is 660 feet, so they altered the mile

Tombstones were originally placed at grave sites to weight the dirt
