The reason for the aversion of DK (Dravida Kazhakam) to Hinduism in 
particular is: They are Hindus (more than 99% of its members are/were 
Hindus). Obviously they have been seeing the way Hinduism separating human 
beings on the names of caste, ill treating many. They want to bring equality 
and since it does not exist in Hinduism, they have been trying their best to 
achieve the same. W.r.t. other religions, in their eyes, equality exists at 
least in the respective religions.

Even though it is true that the main agenda of DK is to uphold Dravidian 
identity, they don't believe in the concept of Devas and Asuras.

It is the people with half-baked ideas who confuse others and themselves by 
saying that they don't believe in God but they believe in everything the 
Hinduism says but Hinduism has twisted the facts.

For example,
saying that Asuras were Dravidians and Devas were Aryans
saying that Ravana was a Dravidian
saying that Hanuman/Vaali/Sukrivan/... were Dravidians
saying that Sita was really Ravanan's daughter
and so on

These are all hypocrites who follow all hindu religious customs at home and 
preach against it outside their home to get minority votes. Please note that 
NOT a single DK member would say any of the above if that person is not 
inclined towards the election system.

Whomsoever makes above statements are ALL politicians trying to pull votes. 
They are NOT real DK members. They are DMK/AIADMK/... members in DK to pull 
votes.

Wow! That was quite a write-up, Muthu.
I would like to add something to this.  Atheism is the implied ideology of
the DK.  The main agenda of the organisation is to uphold Dravidian
identity.  It believes that the battles between the devas and the asuras
that most of Hindu mythology deals with were really battles between the
Aryans and the Dravidians, where the latter are invariably depicted as evil.
Hence their aversion to Hinduism in particular.
