Dear fellow Nukkadians,
There was a zamana when I was like totally under the spell of the angry
young and middleaged phenomenon. Still yearn for that spell...the booming
voice and controlled acting. Unfortunately, the old man version is a
pathetic shadow of the former self. And its really hurting me to see him
make such a fool of himself in all these new releases of his. Seems like
his hibernation gave him time to fully realize his hold on the masses and
that in turn has affected his judgement. Well, the point of this mail is
to see if we can somehow reach him and tell him to either start playing
roles with some amount of maturity that help him do some real acting (not
the stupid super-star baazi that he is clinging onto) ala Jack Nicholson,
Al Pacino or even Clint Eastwood. Or to quit acting and save us the
pain of getting disillusioned. Taking it one step further, we could
even hammer out a script for him amongst ourselves on this cyberpad that
is Nukkad. What say?
Rafiq.
