[nukkad] Regarding Big B.......

I fully agree with Rafiq's views. It is really painful to see the Big B
gyrate his hips and shake his waist aka Govinda and that too with Ramya.
I failed to understand the logic of the directors who cast Big B (who
still feel that he is the 'Messiah of the masses' or the 'angry macho
young man'!!!). When Salman Khan (in 'Jab Pyar kisi se hota hai'),
Aamir Khan (in 'Akele Hum Akele Tum') and even Shah Rukh Khan (in 'Kuch
Kuch Hota Hai') can play the roles of fathers to their young kids, what
on earth is holding our directors like David Dhawan, K C Bokadia... to
cast Amitabh in roles that suit his age!!! I failed to understand.

Last week, I had been to 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'!!!!! It is a typical
'Dimag-nikaalke-dekho' kind of a movie with the brand of David Dhawan!!!
Amitabh is totally wasted in that movie. The kind of situations, the
facial expressions of actors, the expected songs and the stereo-typed
villainy of Paresh Rawal...... we all must have seen it over a thousand
times in any damn Indian movie (in any language!!!).... I went to that
movie because I am a loyal fan of Amitabh. I have been enjoying his
movies ever since I was a kid. I think I may have re-consider my
loyalty.

I think Rafiq is right in saying that we (the youth) can hammer out a
nice script on Nukkad and can ask the Big B to consider it!!!!!

Any other suggestions welcome!!!

Bye,
