Just an after thought about the 'Consolidated Replies' sent by Muthu.

The problem here is when people fight for representation, the real issues take a
back seat.

The message from Muthu's mail was : "Because of the deversity, people need a
representation in parliament so that their issues can be heard."

And I have objection for any kind of groupism. Let it be based on race, religion
or state..

We have representation of rich and middle class people! Why not a representation
of slum people. Theirs are the real concerns. Why not keep a seat in the
parmiament for representation of slums.

70% of the people in India live in villages and agriculture is the most common
profession. Tell me how many farmers do we have in parliament.

If we keep finding differences.. and seperate ourselves from people based on
whatever criteria, we create problems.

It is like fighting over who should be selected in the cricket team. What we
should fight for is how the team will be a winning team.
