Well for one i am not disputing that these things happen!

After all we are but human and as for Mithibai college I know that two 
students were caught in a  rather compromising situation but then so were so 
many otehrs in colleges all over Mumbai.

I only took offence to the fact that the college being named in   a 
newspaper is not normal. Its fine i agree that the society we live in 
becomes more and more promiscous  / liberal et al. But I would like a 
reference to the article Ashish mentions because if nothing else,  no 
newspaper is going to name a name especially if it involves the Vile Parle 
Kelavni Mandal - a group that had the Parle Products and Golden Tocacco 
amonnsgt its names of trustees and runs Mithibai and NM college – without 
the risk of a multi million dollar / rupee lawsuit.

Moreover, sure I am not going to turn my head away from the situation, I 
know a lot of "extra curricular" opportunities exist cause I am aware it 
does, but again has anyone read the article? if you have could you give me 
an approximate time period cause I admire the guts of the newspaper that 
published the names. There is a major difference in “Ms X is a student of 
Mithibai College” and “Ms X claims to be a student of the Mithibai college” 
Claims are different from validating the same.

Also for a reporter to state that “girls from Mithibai or NM are doing it 
“or to say that “girls from a suburban college indulge” are two different 
stories altogether, and also the distinction between responsible and 
irresponsible behaviour. So if you have read the article I would appreciate 
an approximate date I have a few contacts in Mumbai from the days of my 
active freelance journalism days  to pull an article from the TOI archives.

Or will this be “A friend read it” or “I remember reading it but cant 
remember the dates?”
