Tip of the day: Re-use your plastic bags.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whether you use a religion as a crutch for your views or some political beliefs - the bottom line is that terrorism is abhorrent.
And just because USA has the ability and the guts to go after them does NOT mean they are in the wrong. More pertinently, India needs to show some muscle and less concern for international understanding crap (50+ years of this has made us sound like wimps at best) and go after the militants and destroy their camps.
USA will always do what is best for them alone. Or maybe their allies. As long as we had a bipolar world it served India to side with one over the other (again - the non-aligned mantra was hogwash - we sided with the USSR most of the time on most of the issues - witness the muted response India had when the USSR invaded Afghanistan).
If India has good sense - she will do what is best for herself. And (unfortunately for us) right now siding with the US is in our best interests. It is best NOT to drum up so-called non-aligned nonsense and listen to the doves. The doves have had their day. They should go to Kashmir and talk to the militants. Or to Afghanistan and talk to Mr. bin Laden. I, for one, feel that India should talk tough - and act tough too. NO more Mr. Nice Guy.
As the world's largest democracy India has a responsibility to about 1/6 of the world's population. It is high time we proved that we have the spine needed to protect ourselves. George Fernandes is the right Defense Minister to have right now. I am happy to welcome him back.
Sabre rattling IS the only language the dick-tators of Pakistan understand (if they understand anything at all). Go after the militants into Pakistan controlled Kahsmir and decimate the *expletive deleted*.
Instead of crying 'uncle' and going to the UN everytime there is a problem - maybe we should try something else a bit more potent?
