Dear Mr.Ravi,

While I very much aggree with your point that Eve teasing does
depend on the upbringing, this mail was intended to be more from a
girls point of view than the guys.

All said and done, eve teasing is a major problem even in
metros like Delhi and Calc, while it is a part of life in states like
Bihar.

What I am looking for , is the dress a girl wears is an
influnce for eve teasing.

In plain words, suppose these is this X guy who is a "die
hard" eveteaser (if there is something like that), who would be more
likely to be his target, a girl in traditional Indian clothes (like
chudidar) or some one who is in western clothes (i mean tight jeans
tshirt types/mini skirt) or would it be any one and has got not thing
to with clothing.

To give u a back ground, I had this chat with a friend. I was
arguing that she is most likely to avoid eve teasing if she doesnt
wear provocative dress, and she was against.
I just want to know what majority of Nukkies think.

Non Indian Nukkies, eve teasing, as a practice, though common
in different countries, I feel the factors that effect it are
different. The above discussion holds good only for people who are
from India or have visited and understood people of India. How ever
comments are welcome.

          Regards,
          Gurunath M.
