US Universities queries -Please read

Hi,
This is reply to so many nukkies asking for US education related queires.

1. Ask what you need make it specific dont make it general. eg. Manisha
asked for Good Engineering Colleges. But she did not specify  her
criteria.

2. Since you are the one who is interested in an US education you should
do the hard work. Find the universities and then ask whether they are good
or bad.

3. Even in the university where I am, I have had scores of FOBs  (Fresh
off the Boat) come to me and tell "give me any 3 good courses to register"
Now what does that mean. When you look at a US education please please
look at the universities that meet your criterias.

4. Make the criteria's like this
 a. GRE/GMAT/SAT scores that universities expect. Then determine whether
you can get them. The idea is to know yourself.
 b. Financial Aid scene on campus.
 c. The climate of the region.
 d. how big or small the universities are, where they are located. eg
Universities in NY, East US , California are costly both in tuition and in
life style.
 e. How many percent international students are there in your interested
program.
 f. Does the program have an area that interests you.

 These are some tips.
