1) I invite your attention to a series of discussion we had on our attitude
vis-a-vis Kashmir.
2) At that time, I had suggested certain views, the gist of which is as
follows:
            a) Kashmir is not worth protecting, if our soldiers get
butchered.
            b) The soldier on the Border is just doing his job, and there is
no sense of patriotism per se, but that ihe gets paid for
the same.
            c) He is just having a riskier job than mine.
            d) The Seven Sisters of the North East may not be worth
protecting, if they dont give results.
            e) Our peaceful attitude of restraint has given us an
international legitimacy, and we are being respected for it.
3)  On the same issue, I had some e-skirmishes with Milind Sathe, who had
asked me a question, "Will you still exercise restraint if someone actually
attacks you, as in Rajababu, physically? Will you still mouth the same
peaceful platitudes?" Of course, these are not his words per se, he had put
it in a more gentlemanly way.
4) I had sent him a mail, partly agreeing with him.
5) After that event, around 2 months have elapsed. Several incidents have
happened, like:
            a) Amarnath killing of 100 people.
            b) Cyber-attacks through E-Mail or otherwise on me from my
enemies.
            c) Failure of talks with Dr. Abdullah and Dar.
            d) Veerappan.

6) After these incidents, I now take back my words on the above issues.
7) Milind was right and I was wrong. Sorry, sir.
8) This goes out to Milind, The answer to your question is ' No, I shall not
keep quiet, I will gather all my resources and fight back the guy who
attacks me and my family. Yes, I will do that everytime that happens to me'.
9) And in case, anyone is still in doubt, a big Sorry for having wrongly
applied my mind on the above subjects.
10) My only alibi, if one may call it that, was that I had not read the
Mahabharata properly. I got a chance to read it 3-4 days ago. Yes, if your
ego says so, you must take up the cause. Dont think of peace. It is a
question of your Karma. Right, Mr. Sandeep?
11) I hereby resolve to properly apply my mind on the issues taken up in
Nukkad.
