        I have done MCA from VJTI. When I joined, the exam was conducted by VJTI itself. Now they have started using NCST exam as the entrance criteria.

        The best thig to do for preparing for NCST is to get their handbook for 'E' level program. Go through the topics and then read relevent books. I think they have given references of the books you can read in the NCST handbook.

        If you are in Bombay, a better thing to do is to go to VJTI and meet a few MCA students and ask them about how to prepare, how much score is usually required etc.. They will definitely help you. If you are not in Bombay, you can contact them by email. Let me know, if you need I will send you some email ids.
