I am totally aghast at your narrow mindedness.

The people who came to the Bombay Presidency (as the region was known then) where responsible for the growth of the region as a business centre and they have a large hand in making of Bombay and Maharashtra. 

What you are "proud" of today is generally all their blood, sweat and tears.

Rabble rousing will not get you anywhere.
Such narrow mindedness is the main reason for the anarchy in Maharashtra today. 

People with similar mindsets are the ones who launch "sons of the soil" movements and cause general disharmony in the state. Do something for the state you are "proud" of. Or else rave and rant someplace else
