    Hi all,

    Any views on Genetic Engineering in India.

    It seems like the Indians have already had it what they could from the
IT revolution, which doesn't seem to show any significant peaks
technologically in near future.

    The next best bet for THE INDIAN BRIANS to come to the LimeLight again
seems to be Genetics. I just heard of TCS setting some  r&d division
relating to Genetic Engineering at Hyderabad(that too from their add in
ascent(TOI))

    Any ideas of what plans the corporates have in this blooming area......


    Is the Govt taking any initiative in this area....
