Hi Gang,

   As usual, walked into the library, looked around
for some crazy author. Someone who would have played
with 'words'. Hmm...searched almost every rack and
sack, up and down. Poor man, the librarian offered me
help. But when I myself was not sure of what I was
looking for, how do I tell him? hmm..hmm..nope,
nope..not this..na, not that..*sigh*
   As I ran my fingers on the books arranged in the
shelves, I had a strange feeling, an electrifying
current that passed into my flesh and blood, that
excited the atoms in my body. Literature! Art!
Science! Imagine the amount of hardwork that went to
give a form to the ideas/concepts that evolved in the
minds of so many writers. Amazing!
   AH, at last! I found a book that caught my
attention. Not a huge book, but the title attracted me
- Words. Simple but yet a mystery. I pulled the book
out of its hiding place. The author, Jean-Paul Sartre,
has definitely played with words! As I read the book,
words by word, line by line, para by para, page by
page, I admired the sense of humour this person had! I
wondered if I had to smile, frown, or twist my face
reading his thoughts. Most of the time, a smile would
break involuntarily on my face, amazing the others. 
   Picked a few lines from his work. Would like to
share it.

- Dying is not everything:you have to die in time.
- I was too busy listening to hear.
- All Pythiases are dead, everyone knows that;all
children are mirrors of death.
- Nature speaks and experience translates:all adults
have to do is shut up.
- No matter:our life was one long succession of
ceremonies and we spent our time heaping ourselves
with praise.
- Progress, that long and arduous road which led to
myself.
- A kiss without a moustache,they said then, is like
an egg without salt; I will add to it:and it is like
Good without Evil, like my life between 1905 and 1914.
- If a person can define himself only through
opposition, I was the undefined made flesh and
blood;if love and hate are the two sides of same coin,
I loved nothing and no one. It was a good thing:you
cannot expect to hate and please at same time. Nor to
please and love.
