Hi,
 I was wanting much to write same on this...you just snatched words from my
mouth (read pen or typing fingers)...though i have, since the fateful day,
been discussing and debating on this with other groups and family members
back home over the net and in person....but somehow failed to gather more
opinion geared towards my opinion.....
I dread to visualise the scenario as an aftermath in a similar condition in
our country back home...and i need not add anymore and different
permutations than what you pointed out.
I will tell here also as i have been expressing to my family back
home...that i am simply amazed at the way the common man, the govt. the
mayor of NYC has been reacting to the whole grim situation. it is
overwhelming, at times, for me to see that how rightly the situation is
being handled by all at large. I am being scoffed at even by fellow desis.
Well, just wanted to second yours thoughts.
