Maverik,
On the grounds of political principles, I am not inclined to support US in
their war moves against Afghanistan. USA never realized the gravity of
terror in other parts of the world, such as Kashmir, Mindnao in Phillipines
and for many years kept almost criminal silence. However, if attack on
Afghanistan is the first move to demolish terrorism world wide, I for one
approve it. Someone at some point of time has to take the initiative in
concrete terms or else it is guaranteed that terrorism will escalate. This
time its USA who has suffered and provides the lead. Let them do the job
and we together with others stand to benefit. At the end of it all, we
would appreciate one statement from Bush administration denouncing violence
in Kashmir. If this happens, we can modulate our future strategies to end
violence once and for all.
