There have been a lot of hoaxes (Q33NY and Nostradamus for eg) and 
rumors in the wake of the Sep 11 attack. 

This would also be a good time to visit 
http://www.snopes2.com/rumors/rumors.htm which lists all the rumors to 
come out of the WTC crash. The page also indicates which are hoaxes 
and which are real stories (for eg. US President Bush did in fact 
say, "I'm not gonna fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent 
and hit a camel in the butt.")

Please read the page and help stop the hoaxes circulating on
the 'net.
