(Editorial comment: The plan to add a state exam in Grade IV
is a baaad idea. There is enough stress just keeping up with
regular school exams and now the kids and parents have to deal
with a state-wide board exam? Yeah, the govt. is saying that
there will be no marks (only 3 grades, that too on a curve - 
read the news story for details) and it is more of a test of 
the schools and the teachers. But there is absolutely
no doubt that this will increase the pressure on the kids.

Starting next year, the teachers will start teaching specifically
for the exam and ignore the syllabus. And this is supposed to
improve education how?
