Did you people see the Mani Shankar Iyer episode on NDTV? One brilliant
piece of information is that Aish Rai was paid 2 crore for the closing
ceremony at the Melbourne Commonwealth games.
The same amount that was spent on the entire contingent  of 270 athletes and
delegates for the games.
And they wonder why we do not do well at sport!
