It is really easy to attach fault to one person here. The Hindus were under
no obligation to follow what Gandhiji believed in. Yes, he was a leader, but
if he had been wrong, someone would have replaced him... the fact remains
that Gandhiji remains one of the very reasons as to why the British had to
leave India.
