    The story so far from my view.

After India signed the deal in july last year , the real arm twisting
started. http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/07/20050718-6.html

First India was told to say to Iran that it is not interested in Pipe
line from Iran. Which India did.

Then it was told that India should report Iran to UN. Which India did.


Early this year India let Iran know that we are still interested in
pipe line. Now work on pipe line is under progress .

Last week  PrimeMinister Manmohan singh let Iran know, they support
their right for nulcear programme.


It has been more that year and half , since this hupla about u.s
India deal started. And India still did not received any thing. Except
for some arm twisting :)
And the fear that deal will be cancelled if they do not follow u.s
wishes.

 PS: I always thought Bush was more eager to give civil nuclear tech.
to India in exchange for India's co-operation.
I don't think  PrimeMinister M.M singh went begging for Nuclear deal .
