that is right.
reserved means the case is all over except for pronouncing judgement and he
wants time to think over or it will take some time to write it out.
like in cases of big cases and lengthy arguments.

whereas adjournment is the familiar "vaida" when the case is still going on
and one of the parties wants to buy some time for further proceeding or even
the judge might do it when he has to go to the next case on the list and the
case is dragging.
