Thanks for your suggestions. Moving between months/years (!) is doable
but there is more than one way to do it. One option is to stay on the
same page and just change the calendar. This is somewhat complex to
do. The other option is to change the whole page - including the
headlines - to the previous month. This is not too difficult but it is
probably not what the reader wants.

I chose a third option and created a full calendar. The link for this
calendar is below the current month's calendar.

This is a pretty useful idea. I have added a 'history' link next to
each topic which
shows the time-line for that topic. Is this similar to what you were
thinking of?
If not, let me know.
The current display format is functional but I think it could be made
more useful.

I also fixed a bug with the way the headlines were grouped. The grouping should
be more logical now. If it is not, let me know.

I will be offline for the next week so I won't be able to respond to
feedback or update the site for the next few days. But I really
appreciate all the feedback and will get back to work once I get back.
